Istanbul Kültür University Department of Architecture; In 2020-2021 Spring Semester, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu, Assist. Prof. Nevzat Ömer Saatcıoğlu and Lecturer Dr. Suzan Sanlı Esin, within the scope of the “Diploma Project” course, hosted Master Architect Caner Bilgin, Master Landscape Architect Defne Akşin Akyol and Master Landscape Architect Begüm Sabitoğlu from IMM.

Istanbul Kültür University Department of Architecture continues to bring together the world's famous architects with their students and the architectural environment in the 2020-2021 Spring Semester. The second guest of the conference series held online was the famous architect Romi Khosla on Wednesday, March 7, 2021 at 17:00. After graduating from AA School of Architecture in London, Khosla founded Design Studios in India and designed more than a hundred buildings with national and international awards.

In order to reorganize the backyard of the IKU Ataköy campus in line with the student requests and requirements, a workshop was held on 6-7 March 2020, open to the participation of the students of the Department of Architecture and the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design of our university. The exhibition and presentation of the participation certificates of the " Design Your Garden, Let's Apply Together " workshop organized by the Faculty of Architecture was made online on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

The deadline for the "Architecture and City" themed mask design competition organized by Istanbul Kültür University Department of Architecture and open to the participation of all architecture, interior design, industrial design, landscape architecture or city and regional planning students is Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Contestants who want to participate in the competition must:

Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture organized an event to celebrate the new year of its students; wish them success in the final exams; announce the names of the students who have received their Honor/High Honor Certificate; inform about their online documents, and provide information about graduate education at Istanbul Kültür University on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

The online jury for the pre-evaluation of the #iküarchipandemic 21-day competition, which was held between November 16 and December 7, on the relationship between architecture and pandemic, was held on December 12, 2020, by Prof. Dr. Ayhan Usta, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aliye Rahşan Karabetça, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emre Arslan, Lec. Pelin Çetken and Res. Asst. Berkay Oskay. 

The evaluation jury of the 21-day #iküarchipandemic contest held on Instagram between November 16 and December 7, was held online by Prof. Dr. Ayhan Usta, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aliye Rahşan Karabetça, Assist. Prof. Dr.  Mehmet Emre Arslan, Lec. Pelin Çetken and Res. Asst. Berkay Oskay on December 12, 2020.
 
In the evaluation process of the competition in which 180 photographs participated, 50 photographs in the first stage; 25 photographs in the second stage; 12 photographs in the third stage and 6 photographs in the last stage were left for the finals.

Orientation Programme for our first-year students newly enrolled in Department of Architecture English Programme is going to be held online on Tuesday, 13th October 2020 at 14:00, on Adobe Connect platform. In line with the decision of Council of Higher Education (YÖK), because of the Covid-19 infection possibilities and to protect our students’ health, our University made a decision about not to do internships in any other organization. For this reason, internships cannot be held in any other organizations.
