Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ Program enables students enrolled in higher education institutions to receive part of their education in higher education institutions abroad, which are partners owing to an interinstitutional agreement. Students who attend the program have the right to receive financial support (grant). The grants do not aim to cover all the costs of the participants but to be a contribution to their expected costs.

Undergraduate students who want to apply for the Erasmus+ Learning Mobility are selected according to the Erasmus+ grade determined according to the grade they obtain from the foreign language exam held by the University and the Grade Point Average (GPA) and their order of preference.

Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeship, students are able to work for 3 months (90 days) in companies or institutions (architectural office or construction sites) in European Union countries, with which they have established contact with. Students are required to apply to the Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeship with foreign language proficiency documents, the Erasmus+ grade determined according to GPA as well as the invitation letter sent from the institution with which students have established contact with.

Within the framework of the Erasmus Mobility for Faculty Members, the faculty members of partner universities visit our Department to give lectures and conferences about their subjects and to establish contacts. Similarly, the faculty members of our Department also give lectures and make observations at partner universities. In this way, the content of our architecture programs is significantly enriched.

Partner Universities...

Through the Joint Education Activities conducted within the scope of Erasmus+, various courses, laboratories, and workshops, from which a wide mass of students can benefit, are carried out in a parallel and coordinated manner with partner universities. In this context, many workshops and joint courses are held in Turkey and abroad.

Erasmus+ collaborations are considered to be an inseparable part of our Department that carry our architecture undergraduate degree as well as our students and faculty members to an international dimension. It is aimed to create these collaborations an opportunity from which all our students can benefit.
The cooperation between our University and European Union universities has been maintained and improved through student exchanges every year since the 2004-2005 Academic Year.
