Within the scope of the 2023-2024 Spring Semester activities of the Faculty of Architecture, a conference titled "Disaster Resistant Park Design and Post-Disaster Usage Scenarios" was held on Wednesday, March 20, with IMM (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality) Green Area Project Chief Evrim Nebiler as the speaker.

A visit was paid to IKU Faculty of Architecture by Yıldız Technical University Construction Club in order to promote the "CIVIL ISTANBUL Engineering and Architecture Conferences" to be held between 1-3 March 2024.  At the meeting, participated by IKU Deputy Dean Assoc. Dr. Gamze Alptekin, Taha Yiğit Şen and Emirhan Aksoy, both students of the Department of Architecture, besides encouraging the IKU students to attend the CIVIL ISTANBUL event, cooperation opportunities between YTU Construction Club and İKÜ Architecture Club were also discussed.

The winners of the international TraMod AWARDS 2023 competition, which focuses on the interactions between tradition and modernity in architecture and design and includes world-renowned architects among the jury members, were awarded. The competition organized in the professional and student categories consisted of architecture, interior architecture, product, and fashion design.
