Within the scope of the "Design Competition" organized after the signing of the cooperation protocol between the Rectorate of TR Istanbul Kültür University and MODOKO; A workshop was held between 7-9 February with the participation of MODOKO Management. MODOKO Board Member İrfan Çimen, MODOKO General Manager Abdurrahim Erdoğan, MODOKO Advertising Manager Serap Entürk and MODOKO Senior Art Director Hümeyra Sarıal were present at our university on the first day of the workshop.
Before the workshop organized to contribute to the finalization of the projects, for the "Design Competition"; 60 students from the Department of Architecture and the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, together with our department professors and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu, examined the MODOKO environment on site.
Prof. Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu gave the following message about the workshop held at our Ataköy campus: “As part of the protocol signed between the Rectorate of Istanbul Kültür University and the MODOKO Management, the competition was a helpful one between the undergraduate students of Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture and Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. In addition to creating a competitive environment and creating a source of motivation; With the university-industry cooperation, it is aimed to support the qualified workforce that grows in our country, to support the students to do practical work and to grow up in a qualified way before starting their professional life.”
Our Rector, in the message she shared before the workshop, said: “Public Open Spaces Idea Project Student Competition was organized at MODOKO with mutual trust and synergy in a short period of about a month. Our award ceremony took place in January. It was stimulating, encouraging and inspiring for college youth. Today, however, it will be crowned with our workshop, as we have promised in our cooperation protocol. Every event where knowledge and experience meet will bring us one step closer to the goals in our protocol. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the MODOKO Board of Directors for honoring our workshop and giving inspiration and motivation to our youth.”
