The international symposium organized by the IKU Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture has started on March 24, 2022, Thursday, online. The symposium, in which the opening speeches are made by Assist. Prof. Elif Altınok Çalışkan, Rector Consultant, in the name of IKU Rector, Prof, Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Esin Kasapoğlu, Head of the Department of Architecture, Assoc. Prof. Zühre Yıldırım, Head of the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Architecture, focuses on the new dialogues in the architecture education and practice. In the symposium, Prof. Dr. Oya Atalay Franck, Head of EAAE (European Association for Architectural Education) and the Dean of Zurich University of Applied Sciences School of Architecture, Design and Civil Engineering, and Prof. Dr Ashraw Salama, Head of the Research in the University of Strathclyde in England, took place as invited speakers. At the end of the symposium attended by valuable academicians, a special session will be held on the results of the workshop on “Muğla Fires” completed by the students under the coordination of the faculty members of the Architecture Departments of İstanbul Kültür University and Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.
