In line with the decision of Council of Higher Education (YÖK), because of the Covid-19 infection possibilities and to protect our students’ health, our University made a decision about not to do internships in any other organization. For this reason, internships cannot be held in any other organizations.
The mid-term students, who haven’t complete their internships yet, can complete their internships into two part in the 2020/2021 Academic Year. For each internship (office internship – 20 days and construction internship – 20 days), the students can arrange their internship periods divided into two as one part at the end of 2020/2021 Fall Semester and the other part at the end of 2020/2021 Spring Semester.
The students who are in their graduation status and haven’t complete their internships yet, can take the courses ARC 7000 Professional Practice I (Section 2) and ARC 8000 Professional Practice II (Section 2 and Section 3) in the 2019/2020 Summer School. The research reports prepared at these courses will be accepted as internship reports.
All the internship courses that will be opened in 2019/2020 Summer Semester will be free of charge. The students who want to submit their internship reports in the 2019/2020 Summer School and the students in graduation status, please read the announcement below:

Students who completed their internship in 2019 Summer and/or 2019/2020 Academic Year and couldn’t submit the reports due to the missing documents must register the Professional Practice Course Sections written below:

The students who are in graduation status in 2019-2020 Spring and Summer Semester:
Professional Practice courses were programmed prevailing office and construction internship for the students who are planning to do their internship during 2019 / 2020 Spring Semester and Summer Term but will not able to do it because of Covid -19 pandemic. These courses are available only for the students who are in graduation status. Within the scope of these courses students are expected to prepare and submit a research report. The academic advisor of the students who will be graduated should send a letter to the internship comission via e-mail that confirms student’s graduation status. Students (in graduation status) who didn’t complete their internship and wants to benefit from these courses must register to the Professional Course Sections written below:

About Professional Practice Courses for the Students Who are in Graduation Status
The period of compulsory internship is 40 days for the Faculty of Architecture. 20 days of this is for office internship and the remaining 20 days is defined as construction internship. Each Professional Practice Course prepared for 2019 / 2020 Summer Semester correspond to 20 workdays. Courses will be executed by using distance learning methodologies and distance learning tools.
2 synchron courses were programmed for each Professional Practice courses. These courses provide students to develop their research according to given critics. Reports to be submitted are comprehensive research reports in the form of A4 word document. The calendar of the course is as below:
