BIG WIN FOR OUR STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE AND THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN

The project titled “Energy Efficient Living Unit for Disaster Situations” created by Şimal Kalkan, 4th year student of Architecture (English) and Öykü Konya, 2nd year student of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Filiz Bal Koçyiğit, who has been instructing compulsory and elective courses for the last two years in our Department of Architecture, along with the coordination of Nursima Şevli, a 4th year student of the Department of Architecture (English),  was granted monetary aid as a part of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program.

 The project also, is in the evaluation phase having passed the pre-selection in the “Disaster Management” category “University and Above Level” in the TEKNOFEST Technology Contest for the Benefit of Humanity.
